01/ TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

A technical specification is the blueprint for our factories to create patterns and make samples. We produce these on our BombyX PLM system and are highly detailed to include all measurements, make details, fabrics, trims and components

02/ DIGITAL PATTERN CUTTING

Our factories and pattern cutters will create for you from our technical specifications patterns of your designs using a digital pattern cutting system

03/ MANUAL PATTERN CUTTING

In our smaller factories mainly in the UK we can have created for you manual patterns made from paper or card

04/ TOILES

Sometimes for a very tricky style we need to create a toile in a similar fabric to get the shape right before we create the patterns and subsequent proto samples

05/ SAMPLING

As part of a full package our factories will produce prototypes, proto samples, fit samples, press samples, production samples and gold seal samples to ensure the final product conforms and is of high quality

06/ FIT SESSIONS

Getting the fit of your garment is crucial to the success of your product or collection. These are done in-house with our technical team on a model. Adjustments and additions are then recorded on the tech packs ready for the next samples

07/ SIZE CHARTS

We can create for you a fully graded size chart using our standard rules or a bespoke to you chart from a base size

08/ GARMENT AND
PRODUCT TESTING

Garment and product testing ensures that your product lasts for a long period of time. Wearer trialling ensures that the product fits correctly and is fit for purpose. We can also get official testing done for you that is required to conform to all UK legislation
