MEET ABIGAIL, OUR DESIGN BRAIN
Abigail May-Neve is our part-time designer at Fazane Fox Production Agency, supporting clients with concept development, trend research, CADs, colour palettes, product direction and the creative detail behind well-developed products.
With a background across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, tailoring, swimwear, beachwear, jersey and woven product, Abigail brings a strong mix of creative thinking and commercial design experience to the team.
Her career has included working with suppliers and brands across the UK high street, developing products for customers including Topshop, River Island, Marks & Spencer, ASOS, Warehouse, Monsoon, Next, Wallis, Debenhams, Evans and New Look. She has worked across everything from tailored dresses, suits and separates to occasionwear, soft separates, casualwear, swimwear, lingerie, nightwear, jackets and coats.
Abigail’s experience covers trend research, mood boards, CADs, specification drawings, fabric and trim sourcing, print and embellishment direction, technical specification packs and working with pattern cutters, machinists, buyers, factories and overseas teams.
At Fazane Fox, Abigail supports the early creative stages of product development, helping founder-led brands shape ideas into something clear, considered and ready to move into the technical process.
Because design is not just about making something look nice.
It is about understanding the customer, the product, the fabric, the function, the cost and the production route before the idea runs off wearing a feather boa and no commercial plan.
Abigail also has a very Fazane Fox origin story. She first met Fazane years ago at a clothes sale and then spent several years asking for a job.Naturally, we eventually gave in.
