MEET CATHRYN OUR TECHNICAL WIZARD

Cathryn Jordan is our hugely experienced garment technologist and one of the technical brains behind Fazane Fox Production Agency.

With over 38 years’ experience across garment technology, factory training, international production, fitting and product development, Cathryn brings serious technical know-how to the team. She has worked across womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, sportswear, swimwear, beachwear, lingerie, shapewear, thermals and workwear, giving her the kind of product knowledge you cannot fake.

Cathryn started her career at Courtaulds in Heanor at just 16, beginning on the factory floor before moving through training, factory set-up and technical management roles. Her career took her to Sri Lanka to help set up a new factory, then to Morocco, where a 12-month factory turnaround project somehow became a four-year adventure.

After returning to the UK, Cathryn continued her technical career with Courtaulds, working across multiple product categories before joining the Marks & Spencer swimwear and beachwear team. She later worked with Crystal Martin International on the M&S lingerie team, running shapewear and thermals, before moving into ladieswear and workwear roles.

Today, Cathryn supports our clients with the technical detail behind purposeful, functional and fabric-based products, from fit and construction through to sampling, production problem-solving and making sure the product actually works in real life.

Because strong ideas are lovely..

But strong ideas with poor fit, unclear specs or wonky construction? Less lovely.

Cathryn is the person who spots the issue, asks the awkward but necessary question and helps turn the design into something technically sound, commercially viable and production-ready.

She also officially passed the Fazane Fox initiation test by fitting dog coats on actual dogs while wearing a posh dress and heels.

We have never let her leave.
